Kamp

So we decided to conquer Kamp once again this year. Yes, Kamp with a "K". It's Kanakuk's Family Kamp known as K-Kauai in Branson, Mo. It's really a fabulous thing. The kiddos are taken care of by enthusiastic and fun college kids for the morning while the adults take a break and are fed from God's word. The afternoon is full of optional activity including rock walls, b.b. guns, archery, pools, water slides, mini golf and on and on. The evenings are crazy too as the staff have prepared some activity based on a theme for the whole family. The food is good, the weather this year was actually quite nice and the people you interact with are great!
The only draw back for this Branson version of luxury camping is the 15 hour drive there and back. What was supposed to be a 10 hr drive just takes longer when toting a 3 and 1 year old. We made it in one piece though and it felt well worth it in the end. When the parents feel rested and the kids exhausted, you know you've had a pretty incredible vacation.

Every night had a theme so I'll share a video and afew of our outfits and best shots from our time.
