I did it! So this blog is not really supposed to be so much about me as it is my kids, but I'll just take this brief interlude...it is Mother's Day right?...to talk about ME. I love it that I ran a 5K and finished in 29 minutes. My family cheered me on. To me, this was my Mother's Day gift to myself. As mentioned, perseverance is not my strong suit. But today I did it. So my lesson from this is that my naturally lazy self CAN do it when I chose to. Now that I know that I guess I have no excuses. Oh well, it really was fun to win. I won for me!! (we won't mention the little punk that crossed before me...)Now I promise, my next post will be all about the little darlings that make me feel better about myself than any little ol' 5K.
