So, back to Sunday...
We picked up the kiddos at Home of Hope, dressed them in fancy new clothes and carted them off on a new adventure.  Aliyah seems to love the car.  I'm not sure what she's going to do when we get home and we have to strap her into a car seat!!  We went to Africa New Life's church to hear Pastor Charles for the English service.  Aliyah did great job, sleeping for the first half, though we are seeing her be less and less reserved and more and more active.  Yes, this is a good thing!  She is letting her guard down almost by the minute.  We love to see her little personality in bloom!!  

Pastor Charles preached a sermon that was all about how God is in control and we are not.  OH, how we know that to be true!  Good timing!  

We got to see lots of the kids that stay at ANL.  They love to crowd around and love on the "Muzungo"  and in our case "Chengwa".  One little boy said in English that he likes Chinese because they know how to fight.  Jackie Chan has made quite the impression.

We had an easy going afternoon loving on Aliyah and napping together.  This little one is just the cutest little thing we ever laid eyes on.  We are in love with her and love her precious smile.  Letting her go at the end of the day to go back to her little orphanage bed is absolutely heart wrenching.  Oh how we long for that day, hopefully SOON, that we can take her into our home and hearts forever.  Have I said that before?
